PUBLIC NOTICE
ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Wilton, New York, County of Saratoga, at a regular meeting on April 3, 2025, attended by a majority of Town Board members, unanimously voted to adopt Resolution No. 123 to expend funds from the Park Reserves Account for a contractual agreement with Friends of Gavin Park for playground and recreational expenditures.
The purpose of this Reserve Fund is to withdraw and expend funds from such Reserve Fund for the purpose of purchase and installation of playground and recreational equipment and does hereby resolve to authorize the withdrawal and expenditure of $26,415.00 from such Reserve Fund and does hereby authorize and direct the Supervisor of the Town of Wilton to transfer such sum of $26,415.00 from such Park Reserves Fund (A5111) to Playground and Recreational Center-Contractual Expenditures (A7140.4) for the purchase and installation of a zip-line, as provided by law.
The Chief Fiscal Officer shall account for the Park Reserves Account in a manner which maintains the separate identity of the cash and investments of the Reserve Fund.
The resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum pursuant to subdivision 4 of section 6-c of the General Municipal Law.
