Wilton’s future.

BOARD OF ASSESSMENT REVIEW MEMBER NEEDED

The Town of Wilton is seeking a resident to serve on its Board of Assessment Review (BAR).
The BAR hears property assessment grievances and ensures assessments are fair and in line with
NYS law.

Requirements:
• Wilton residency
• Fair, objective, and ethical judgment
• Willingness to attend annual Grievance Day and complete state training

ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE

• Purpose: to advise and guide the Town Board as it seeks to implement low-stress bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. Focus is to interconnect neighborhoods, allow informal recreation and provide access to a variety of locations. Projects may include Bike Routes (on-road/ shared lanes), Bike Lanes (road adjacent) and Multi-use paths (MUP) (hard-surface off-road). Past experience in development, funding or implementation will be valued for consideration.

LAND CONSERVATION COMMITTEE

• Purpose: to advise the Town Board in efforts to enhance and implement strategies for land conservation and the preservation of open space in the Town of Wilton. A passion for conservation and knowledge of planning, zoning or town code are valued attributes.

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Help Shape the Future of Our Community – Become a Zoning Board Member!
