NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Hazardous Waste Day Collection

Sealed bids shall be received by the Town of Wilton, New York until 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2026, in the office of the Town Clerk, 22 Traver Road, Wilton, New York 12831 for Hazardous Waste Day Collection, Bid #TB1-2021. The bids shall be publicly opened and read at 1:01 p.m.
The collection site is located at 22 Traver Road, Highway Department, in the Town of Wilton, New York, 12831.
The scope and extent of work of the contract shall be as described in -“Summary of Work”. In general, the work involves a town wide collection and removal of hazardous waste materials at a central location.
All bids shall be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. No bidder may withdraw a bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Project work shall be completed on a Saturday in September of 2026 mutually agreed upon by awarded contractor and the Town of Wilton. Contractor shall provide materials and labor, including overtime and premium time, if necessary, to accomplish the completion.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% (five percent) of the bid. If more than one bid is submitted, a separate bid deposit must accompany each bid.
The Town of Wilton reserves the right to reject parts of any or all bids and reserves the right to accept any alternate proposal which does not significantly alter the bid specifications, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids. The Town of Wilton practices Best Value Methodology in accordance with Local Law No. 1 of 2014.
